The Lions Host Committee is asked to welcome attendees and provide support volunteers, services and materials at no cost to Lions Clubs International. The Host Committee is guided by the Host Committee Chairperson, who is appointed by the Multiple District's Council of Governors. The appointment should be reconfirmed by each successor council.

The Host Committee Chairperson, with guidance from the council, appoints key personnel to coordinate and direct the efforts of other various committees. Committee Chairpersons report to the Host Committee Chairperson and Co-Chairperson.

The Host Committee Secretary acts as a recorder for all meetings and other duties as directed by the Host Committee Chairperson and/or Co-Chair

Treasurer

The Treasurer collects all monies received and disburses all payments due by the convention committee and keeps accurate records of all financial matters.
