Dear Fellow Lions.
Allow me to extend to you, on behalf of the Lions of M.D.-19 and as Chairperson of the Host Committee, our sincere thanks and appreciation for your participation at our 94th Lions Clubs International Convention that was held in Seattle during July 4-8, 2011. We hope you have found the arrangements at the Convention to your liking and you will return again with your friends and family to visit our other interesting sites in M.D.-19. However without your enthusiastic support, the Convention would not have been as successful as we have witnessed. You have played an important part in raising the standard of our International Convention to a new height. I look forward to seeing you again in the near future.

Good evening, Lion Volunteers,
Our thanks goes out to each one of you Lions who took the time to volunteer with the Host Committee's Security Group during the recently completed 2011 International Convention in Seattle. Comments from attendees, Lions Clubs International staff and other volunteers praised the work you did, specifically citing the help and welcome offered by all those volunteers in the "green vests". Nice job. When all was said and done, 130 Lion volunteers were listed by the Security Committee as assisting at Key Center for the International show and plenary sessions, and at the Convention Center each day. Volunteers came from Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Minnesota, India, Canada, Hong Kong, Bangladesh and Australia. That's quite a spread of geography and cultures. From all of us on the Security Committee, to all of you who gave your time to help make the 2011 International Convention such a great success, thanks. You are amazing people, generous volunteers and great Lions. Your efforts helped make the International Convention a success.
